Our Founder
Lauren founded her dance company "LDC" in 2014. With a vision to share her passion and love for dance, creating a platform for everyone to explore the power of movement gaining knowledge of Urban styles. Lauren has been running a successful Urban dance company for all ages and abilities in Lincolnshire ever since.
She just graduated from University of East London (UEL) where she successfully completed a dance degree: Urban practice BA (hons). Lauren regularly trains in London (Pineapple, Studio 68, Base), and regularly competing as a member of Yaw Darko’s Locking crew ‘Funk of the Future”. She continuously trains from the best of the best to ensure that her teaching and knowledge is of the highest standard.
Lauren has five years of experience, teaching all ages and abilities, in both London and Lincolnshire, from working with community dance projects to covering dance classes at Studio 68, London.
In addition to this, she has organised two free dance events in London, Choreographed two of her own Hip-Hop Theatre shows and two Pantomimes, arranged several dance workshops with professionals (such as Flawless, Lukas McFarlane and Chris and Wes), performed on prestigious stages ( Sadler's Wells, Her Majesty's Theatre, Theatre Royal and Move it). Lauren also just returned from dancing in Los Angeles, where she trained at the Playground studios, Millennium dance complex and many more.
Holding a Enhanced DBS check, Public Liability Insurance, PPL licence, Covid19 training and an Advanced children safeguarding certificate Level 2, she can ensure that the safety of her students will always come first.
